Scope (Target audience):    STCW course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW section A-II/2-6 and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 1.39.
Course provides guidance for cadets and officers in charge of a navigational watch on the skills required for effective bridge team and resource management. 
Program can be tailored to specific shipping company operations.

Objective: The trainees who successfully complete this course will gain working knowledge of shipboard personnel management and training and will make a more effective contribution to the bridge team during ship operations.

Course content:

• Working knowledge of shipboard personnel management and training
• Knowledge of international maritime conventions, recommendations and national legislation 
• Ability to apply task and workload management 
• Knowledge and ability to apply effective resource management
• Knowledge and ability to apply decision-making techniques

Duration: 20 hours

• Identification card or passport
