Scope (Target audience): The course is design for personnel that respond as on scene commander during an emergency involving oil spill, for the incident management staff, responsible for the planning and supervising of operations in the field.
Objective: Delegates will demonstrate to a level of competence in a safe and efficient manner how to response to oil spills, undertake initial risk assessments, initiate a response to an oil spill, identify priorities for protection, chose the correct response strategy, identify the limitations of response options and equipment and understand the needs of the media.
