Scope (Target audience) : This Course is intended to provide the knowledge of a system of investigation aimed at establishing the circumstances and causes of a marine casualty.

Objective : This Course supports international standards of training for the Investigation of Maritime casualties and Incidents based on the IMO Res. A849 (20) and IMO Res.A884 (21).

  • Setting up an Investigation
  • An introduction to interviewing
  • Elements of Casualty
  • Human Factors
  • Casualty and incident analysis
  • Reporting

Duration: 18 hours

  • Identification card or passport
