Scope (Target audience): This course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW section A-II/2-6 and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 1.22.
Course provides guidance for masters and officers in charge of a navigational watch on the skills required for effective usage of bridge equipment and team and resource management.
Program can be tailored to specific shipping company operations.
Objective: The candidates who successfully complete this course will gain experience in handling ships under various conditions and will make a more effective contribution to the bridge team during ship manoeuvring in normal and emergency situations.
