Course code: YMAS/A

Scope (Target audience) : The course is conducted in accordance to the requirements of article 54. of the Regulations of boats and yachts (National gazette NN #27/2005). 

Objective : After successful completion of the course, the trainees will be competent to handle and command a yacht from 30 GT up to 100 GT regardless of purpose and navigation area.

Course content : 

• Navigation (sailing)
• Ship manoeuvring and collision avoidance
• Knowledge of ship and ship’s plant
• Meteorology and oceanography
• Maritime law
• Maritime English

Duration: 75 hours

Prerequisite : 

• At least 18 years of age
• Identification card or passport
• 1 passport size colored photo
• Medical exam issued by Occupational health practice in Republic of Croatia

Note to client : After successful completion of the course and examination at the Harbour Office candidates will receive a Certificate of Competency for Yacht Master Category A (yacht up to 100 GT) issued by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.
